Counselling
On registration, the student is assigned a resident faculty member who acts as his/her Academic Advisor until he/she graduates.
On matters of personal nature that affect a student’s education and performance, counselling is available at the University.
For example, some students may have difficulty in adjusting to the new responsibilities of academic life and reconciling these with their career and family obligations.
Others, who have been away from the academic setting for many years, may have difficulty in re-adopting good study habits which are a must for the intensive UoL curriculum.
These and other such matters may be discussed with their personal Academic Advisor and/or the Head of the Student Welfare Office.
