Economics and Finance School

About

The Economics and Finance School of the University of Limassol houses the Department of Economics & Finance offering an undergraduate program in Economics and two graduate programs in Financial Services, and in Financial Law and International Taxation.

The BSc in Economics program is designed to provide students with basic skills and state-of-the-art knowledge, preparing them for employment in a variety of occupations in business or government, and/or for continued study and research in graduate schools in economics, business, and related fields. The studies are conveniently spread over four years allowing students to gain practical experience through internships while pursuing a prestigious BSc degree. The programs will be offered in the Limassol campus, but the course schedule is designed to fit students that reside in other parts of the island.

The two graduate programs offered by the school are inherited from CIIM, the predecessor of the University of Limassol. The MSc in Financial Services program provides students with advanced knowledge in finance, financial services and a variety of electives in Financial Technologies (FinTech) and Sustainable Finance. The MSc in Financial Law and International Taxation is a specialized program intended to provide profound knowledge in financial law and international taxation to lawyers, accountants, chief executives and other professionals seeking state-of-the-art advanced education in the fields. The graduate programs are offered in both campuses: Limassol and Nicosia.
