professional to join its Distance Learning Unit as an Instructional Designer and Assessment Officer.\n  <\/p>\n\n  <h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n  <ul>\n    <li>\n      Collaborate with faculty to design and develop high-quality, learner-centred online and blended courses.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Ensure course materials meet accessibility standards and promote inclusive learning.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Support academic staff in developing courses and study guides that meet ENQA and CYQAA quality standards.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Review instructional materials, identify content gaps and ensure timely delivery in line with project plans and requirements.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Develop course outlines, learning objectives, assessments and engaging interactive learning materials.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Apply sound pedagogical principles and multimedia tools to enhance the online learning experience.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Address and escalate technical or administrative issues related to distance learning.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Update course materials based on feedback and evolving needs.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Contribute to cross-team initiatives, shared resources and the promotion of distance learning best practices.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Coordinate with support teams, academic departments and the Executive Education Center to improve programme delivery.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Gather and consider student and faculty feedback to support continuous improvement.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Prepare and communicate examination schedules, including registration, submission and exam deadlines.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Coordinate with academic staff to ensure examinations align with course curricula and schedules.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Organise online and on-site examination logistics, where applicable.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Ensure examinations comply with university policies, accreditation standards and external regulations.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Liaise with IT, support and administrative teams to ensure the smooth delivery of examinations.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Ensure the timely collection and distribution of updated study guides, course materials and academic policies.\n    <\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n\n  <h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n\n  <ul>\n    <li>\n      Bachelor&#8217;s degree from an accredited university.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      A Master&#8217;s degree or Postgraduate Diploma in E-learning, Blended Learning, Education, Distance Education, Educational Design, Educational Technology, ICT, or a related field will be considered an advantage.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      At least three years of relevant experience in educational design, programme development, or learning and development.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Experience with content authoring tools (e.g. Articulate), multimedia production tools, and Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Moodle.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Good understanding of educational technologies and digital tools to enhance the learning experience.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.\n    <\/li>\n\n    <li>\n      Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.\n    <\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n\n  <div class=\"uol-career-applications\">\n\n
