disabilities, religion, or it can be felt in under-represented groups, for example, when someone can be &#8220;the only foreigner&#8221;, or &#8220;the lonely LGBTIQ+&#8221;, or &#8220;the only newcomer\u201d, or &#8220;the only woman, the only man.&#8221; A huge number of surveys have found that a top factor why employees voluntarily leave their jobs is a lack of inclusion within their work environments. At the same time, scholars of diversity and inclusion define inclusion based on two separate elements: uniqueness and a sense of belonging. Employees, that is, have the need to feel part of a group, which at the same time, does not force them to assimilate. The Thematic Area &#8220;Culture and Sustainable Development&#8221; creates conditions of inclusion and participation through effective programs that consider both the uniqueness of employees and citizens in general, as well as the sense of belonging.
