Purpose and Scope<\/h4>\r\n

\r\nThe University of Limassol, owned by CIIM INNOVATIONS LTD, operates in the following areas:\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n

    \r\n
  • Provision of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Study Programmes.<\/li>\r\n
  • Provision of Professional Training and Lifelong Learning Programmes.<\/li>\r\n
  • Provision of Consulting Services to Organizations and Businesses.<\/li>\r\n
  • Participation in national and international tenders.<\/li>\r\n
  • Implementation and management of European and International Programmes (e.g., Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Creative Europe, Interreg, etc.).<\/li>\r\n
  • Participation in research projects co-funded by the European Union and other international organizations<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n

    \r\nThis Policy establishes the framework of principles and commitments governing the Organization\u2019s approach to Quality, Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), and Environmental Management and applies across all activities, processes, and operational levels.\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n

    Operational Framework<\/h4>\r\n

    Management systematically identifies and monitors:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      \r\n
    • Internal and external factors affecting the strategic direction and operation of the Organization.<\/li>\r\n
    • The needs and expectations of interested parties (students, staff, partners, suppliers, supervisory authorities, and society).<\/li>\r\n
    • Risks and opportunities that may affect the Organization\u2019s ability to achieve the intended outcomes of the Unified Management System.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n

      Management Commitment<\/h4>\r\n

      \r\nThe Top Management of the Organization, namely the Council Executive Committee, is committed to the following:\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n

      Quality<\/h4>\r\n
        \r\n
      • To provide educational services that fully meet student requirements as well as applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.<\/li>\r\n
      • To ensure the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.<\/li>\r\n
      • To establish measurable objectives and systematically monitor their achievement.<\/li>\r\n
      • To cultivate a culture of quality, academic excellence, innovation, and accountability at all levels of the Organization.<\/li>\r\n
      • To enhance the active participation of staff and students in the continuous improvement of the services provided.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n

        Occupational Health & Safety (ISO 45001:2018)<\/h4>\r\n
          \r\n
        • To provide safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of injuries.<\/li>\r\n
        • To eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks through systematic identification, evaluation, and implementation of preventive measures.<\/li>\r\n
        • To encourage consultation and participation of employees and their representatives in Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) matters.<\/li>\r\n
        • To ensure compliance with all applicable legal and other requirements related to.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n

          Environment (ISO 14001:2015)<\/h4>\r\n
            \r\n
          • To protect the environment, including the prevention of pollution.<\/li>\r\n
          • To reduce the environmental impacts of the Organization\u2019s activities.<\/li>\r\n
          • To continually improve environmental performance through appropriate objectives and programs.<\/li>\r\n
          • To comply with applicable environmental, legal and other requirements.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n

            Compliance and Obligations<\/h4>\r\n
              \r\n
            • Full compliance with Cypriot and European legislation.<\/li>\r\n
            • Compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and other obligations related to its activities (compliance obligations).<\/li>\r\n
            • Systematic monitoring of legislative changes and their integration into operational processes.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n

              Continuous Improvement<\/h4>\r\n

              \r\nManagement is committed to the continual improvement of the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of the Unified Management System through:\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n

              • Internal audits<\/li>\r\n
              • Management reviews<\/li>\r\n
              • Risk and opportunity assessment<\/li>\r\n
              • Analysis of data and performance indicators<\/li>\r\n
              • Corrective actions and preventive measures<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n

                Resources and Communication<\/h4>\r\n
                  \r\n
                • Provides the necessary human, technical, and financial resources for the effective implementation of the System.<\/li>\r\n
                • Ensures appropriate training and awareness of personnel.<\/li>\r\n
                • Communicates this Policy to all personnel and makes it available to all interested parties.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n
