One of the event&#8217;s highlights was a panel discussion titled <strong>&#8220;Navigating the Techno-Tides: The Impact of AI on Maritime Operations &#8211; AI Applications in the Shipping Industry,&#8221;<\/strong> featuring <strong>Dr. Ioannis Filippopoulos, Assistant Professor at the University of Limassol (UoL)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the discussion, Dr. Filippopoulos shared his insights on <strong>how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming maritime operations<\/strong>. He emphasized the role of AI in enhancing efficiency, optimizing performance, and improving safety within the shipping sector.
