On October 18th and 19th, representatives from the University of Limassol (UoL) participated at the ERASMUS+ Days Events organised by the Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP) in collaboration with the Municipalities of Kourion and Nicosia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ERASMUS+ Days is a European celebration held throughout the EU promoting the importance of multiculturalism and lifelong learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The events brought together Higher Educational Institutions, schools, NGOs and other organisations to showcase their contributions to lifelong learning and their involvement in ERASMUS+ initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UoL proudly presented its ERASMUS+ co-funded projects, \u2018InterGenic<\/a>\u2019 and \u2018KidLe<\/a>\u2019, highlighting their role in advancing the European Union\u2019s goals related to green practices, education, innovation and social inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

InterGenic<\/em> is designed to support the European Union’s twin transition towards digitalization and environmental sustainability. This project promotes intergenerational learning by fostering connections between young people and individuals aged 55 and over through mentoring programs. Participants will enhance their educational and transferable skills, boosting their self-confidence while actively engaging in the EU\u2019s green and digital transition efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KidLe<\/em> focuses on supporting the transition of migrant children into new school environments. It empowers parents and teachers to integrate play in their daily routine as a mean of communication and learning. The project results involve the development of five intercultural board games which are created through a collaborative process with parents, children, and teachers, fostering inclusivity and engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UoL\u2019s participation in the ERASMUS+ Days Events affirms its commitment to advancing lifelong learning and promoting innovative educational practices in Cyprus and across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
