{"id":81123,"date":"2026-09-29T10:19:51","date_gmt":"2026-09-29T07:19:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uol.ac.cy\/?p=81123"},"modified":"2026-09-29T10:19:57","modified_gmt":"2026-09-29T07:19:57","slug":"university-of-limassol-academic-and-research-community-participates-in-euromed-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uol.ac.cy\/en\/university-of-limassol-academic-and-research-community-participates-in-euromed-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"University of Limassol Academic and Research Community Participates in EuroMed 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members of the <strong>University of Limassol (UoL)<\/strong> academic and research community participated in the <strong>19th Annual Conference of the EuroMed Academy of Business<\/strong>, held in <strong>Paphos, Cyprus, from 23\u201325 September 2026<\/strong>, contributing through research presentations and active roles in the conference\u2019s academic sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representing <strong>CIIM Business School<\/strong>, <strong>Dr Evdoxia Kyriakou<\/strong> presented the paper <em>\u201cInternal Marketing as a Strategic Marketing Tool: Leveraging Personal and Organisational Values and Non-Financial Rewards to Foster Employee Engagement,\u201d<\/em> co-authored with <strong>Associate Professor Anna Zarkada<\/strong> and <strong>Professor Ioanna Papasolomou<\/strong>. Dr Kyriakou also contributed to the conference programme as Co-chair and Discussant of the session on <em>International Management and Emerging Markets<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dr Georgia Sakka<\/strong> presented <em>\u201cGenerational Perspectives in Sustainable Marketing: A Bibliometric\u2013Systematic Literature Review of Consumer Behaviour, Brand Authenticity and Trust,\u201d<\/em> co-authored with <strong>Mr Giannis Theofanous<\/strong> and <strong>Dr Maria Voutsa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Sakka also presented <em>\u201cCo-Designing Green Skills Curricula Through Multi-Stakeholder Engagement: The Erasmus+ SUSTAINET Project,\u201d<\/em> co-authored with <strong>Annita Eliade, Senior Project Officer at the UoL Research Center<\/strong>. In addition to her research presentations, Dr Sakka contributed to the academic programme as Chair and Discussant across sessions focusing on sustainability and stakeholder-driven business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PhD student Katerina Katsamba<\/strong> presented <em>\u201cAI-Mediated Ethical Leadership in Service Ecosystems: H2H Marketing, Trust, Branding and the Human Filter,\u201d<\/em> co-authored with <strong>Professor Waldemar Pfoertsch<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The participation of UoL academics, researchers and PhD students at EuroMed 2026 reflects the <strong>University of Limassol\u2019s commitment to research, academic collaboration and knowledge exchange<\/strong>, while contributing to discussions on contemporary issues across marketing, sustainability, leadership and emerging management challenges.
