The course provides students with an analytical framework incorporating various strategic planning techniques and tools, which are needed to analyze a public or private organization and formulate a competitive strategy. It covers the following key topics: strategic analysis, decision-making frameworks, and business planning. In this course students will learn to analyze internal and external business environments to identify opportunities and threats and develop strategies that align with business objectives. Students are introduced to decision-making frameworks to evaluate alternative courses of action and make informed decisions. Additionally, it focuses on developing business plans that articulate the strategic direction, goals, and resource requirements of a business. Students will also learn to evaluate the feasibility and profitability of new business ventures, including conducting market research and financial analysis. The course emphasizes the importance of effective communication and collaboration in strategic decision-making and planning.

1. Select the appropriate research design for conducting market research and apply the results to solve business problems.
