The purpose is to give students a more thorough and advanced research experience. It enables students to use more advanced procedures and analytical techniques to delve deeper into their chosen topic. By deriving relevant conclusions from their research findings and analyzing difficult data, students hone their critical thinking abilities during the thesis process. The second section of the thesis exhorts students to combine their research with the body of knowledge already available in their subject, including theories and books. This knowledge integration reveals their capacity to add to ongoing intellectual debates. Part of an undergraduate thesis II’s requirements include presenting research findings to advisors, classmates, and sometimes the general public. This improves students’ capacity to successfully express difficult knowledge and their presentation skills. The thesis serves as a capstone experience for students aiming to graduate or pursue additional degrees, showcasing their capacity to undertake independent research—a quality prized in academia and numerous professional fields.

Learning Outcomes

An undergraduate thesis includes a variety of knowledge, abilities, and personal growth that the student acquired over the research and writing process. Students are expected to exhibit research proficiency, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, time management, independence and self-direction, in-depth knowledge to a specific domain, ethical awareness, presentation skills, confidence and persistence, and career readiness.
