Welcome to the University of Limassol! 

Welcome to the newest University in Cyprus, founded on the solid foundations laid down by one of the oldest and most reputable business schools in the country, the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM), the alma mater of about 3,000 Cypriot and foreign graduates.

We live in a rapidly changing world. Advances in technology and globalization, on the one hand, and global upheavals, such as wars, pandemics, and economic crises on the other, are affecting the way we live and work. New opportunities are being created and new challenges emerge. Responding to rapid change, competing in a larger market, and managing uncertainty all require knowledge and skills but above all critical thinking, creativity and values for a successful career and a meaningful life in the new environment.

The purpose of the University of Limassol (UoL) is to push the boundaries of knowledge through frontier research and inspiring education in a dynamic learning environment, where students can develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world and to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. We aim to prepare our students for active citizenship and for their future careers, supporting their personal development, creating a broad advanced knowledge base and stimulating research and innovation.

UoL has inherited from CIIM and perfected ten graduate programs including its flagship MBA and nine specialized Master of Science programs ranging from Human Resource Management to Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, from Educational Leadership to Public Sector Management and from Financial Services to Green and Digital Management.

Building on three decades of CIIM’s educational experience in business, finance and information technology, UoL has designed and offers three undergraduate programs of exceptional quality: Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Economics with significant common core modules between them to ensure that our graduates acquire both the breadth and depth that the new world in which they will live and work requires. In addition, two doctoral programs, the PhD in Management and the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) are in the process of accreditation.

With a top-notch international faculty, a diverse student body, innovative curricula, interactive teaching and learning methods, and high international admissions and graduation standards, UoL competes with the finest universities for the best and the brightest students.
