The University of Limassol (UoL) is proud to announce the launching of its fully accredited doctoral programs: the Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) and the PhD in Management.
The Ph.D. in Management is a research-intensive program designed to prepare students to excel in management research and become leading management scholars and academics. The PhD program enables doctoral researchers to rigorously analyze data using qualitative and quantitative techniques to test and expand management theories, models and practices. As such, the PhD is more appropriate for those aiming at an academic career in higher education or research organizations.
DBA, the highest academic achievement in business administration, is a doctoral program for business leaders, executives and professionals seeking to link corporate experience to organizational theory and rigorous research. By doing so they build expertise that grows their competitive advantage and differentiates themselves in the marketplace furthering their careers. While the DBA is primarily for business executives and consultants, many DBAs also teach in colleges and universities.
UoL doctoral programs are of world-class quality, highly selective and competitive with only 12 students being admitted each year. They involve one year of doctoral courses and two years of research work. They are offered in alternating UoL campuses, academic year 2024-25 in Nicosia and 2025-26 in Limassol.
