Celebrating a Milestone: UoL End of Year Party for its Very First Undergraduate Students

Last Friday, 28th of June 2024, University of Limassol hosted a memorable end-of-year party at Billy Jo Limassol to honor its first class of undergraduate students. The event was a resounding success, highlighting the university’s unwavering support and commitment to its students.

Faculty members, students, and staff gathered to celebrate this significant milestone in the university’s history. The event was marked by heartfelt speeches, joyous celebrations, and a strong sense of community. Professors mingled with students, sharing stories and offering words of encouragement, reinforcing the bond that has been cultivated over the past few years.

Dr. Christodoulos Efstathiades, Director of the BSc in Computing and Business Technologies, delivered a touching speech, expressing his pride in the students’ accomplishments and the faculty’s dedication. “Tonight, we celebrate not only the achievements of our first class of undergraduates but also the dedication and hard work of our esteemed faculty. Your presence here tonight is a testament to the strong community we have built at the University of Limassol,” he said.

Another highlight of the evening was a speech by Dr. Antonis Violaris, Director of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) “Seeing our first batch of undergraduates come this far is incredibly rewarding. Each of you has shown remarkable determination and spirit. This celebration is just the beginning of your journey, and we are excited to see where your future leads,” he remarked.
