“Culture and Sustainability: The application of cultural intelligence (CQ) to corporate strategies for equality, diversity and inclusion”

On October 18, 2023, the training seminar “Culture and Sustainability: The application of cultural intelligence (CQ) to corporate strategies for equality, diversity and inclusion” took place. The seminar was attended by CYTA’s management team under the guidance of Dr Andri Hadjiandreou, Director of the UoL Center for DEI.

This interactive seminar aimed to:

  • use cultural intelligence to ensure sustainable development based on and as part of diverse, equitable, and inclusive strategies, in various national, organizational, and other contexts
  • to build, develop, and improve participants’ competencies to work effectively in different markets and multicultural workforces, improve their multicultural personal and professional relationships, and have more effective intercultural connections that increase profitability and cost savings
  • promote new concepts of diversity, freedom, democracy, and solidarity for a united and peaceful Europe, currently expanding to regional third countries
  • create the right conditions through which the power of human dignity, ingenuity, hope, curiosity, and optimism is strengthened
