Andri Hadjiandreou

Director of UoL Center for DEI

Dr. Andri Hadjiandreou is the Director of UoL Center for DEI and the Coordinator of the UoL YouTube/podcast Channel. In September 2024, Andri was appointed by the Cyprus Organization for Standardization to become the National Representative to ISO TC 309 Governance of Organizations, WG 11 Diversity Management System.
She is also a Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and Unconscious Bias certified trainer by the Cultural Intelligence Center, Chicago USA. Andri holds a PhD in Performance and Related Studies from the University of London, a BM and MM in Piano Performance from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and an MSc in Education, Leadership, and Management from the Cyprus International Institute of Management. Teaching and other professional affiliations in the fields of research, education, and culture include the Cyprus International Institute of Management (UoL: 2022 – current), University of Nicosia – Department of Music and Dance (2008 – 2015), Creative Europe Desk Cyprus – Culture Program (2016 & 2017), Cyprus Symphony Orchestra – Board of Directors (2011 – 2015), the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture – Music Schools (2006 – current), and Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey – Music Department and Modern Greek Department (2003 – 2006).
Andri was a founding member and president of Arts Embrace Cultural Organization (2011 – 2021) and a founding member and president of Curious Qat Cultural Organization (2022 – current), through which she has an active career in the cultural and creative industry.

Ioanna Panayiotou

COO at University of Limassol / biologist

Ioanna Panagiotou is a Biologist, graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Theology. She is a Vocational Training Trainer (VET5), holder of the certificate "Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) Professional" and "The NSMC's (National Social Marketing Centre) Level 4 Social Marketing Award – Accredited by CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) in England.
From 2013 -2019 she held the position of Environment Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus Since 2020 she has been working as Executive Director at the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM) which has evolved into the University of Limassol. She is the National Representative of Cyprus in the European Social Marketing Association (ESMA), member of the Leadership Council of SDSN Cyprus (Cyprus branch of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network), Member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Institute of Certified Management Consultants – CICMC, Member of the Board of Directors of the National Business Network for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR CYPRUS) and Honorary Member of the Cyprus Biological Society (CBS).
She is particularly interested in Sustainable Development, Green Economy and Entrepreneurship, Bio-economy, Social Economy and Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility, social and generational justice and issues of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

dr. ioannis s. christodoulou

Ioannis S. Christodoulou

Associate Professor of Philosophy

Dr. Ioannis S. Christodoulou is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at University of Limassol. He studied Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a PhD in Philosophy. He is the founder and Professor of the School of Calm Thinking. He has taught philosophy since 1999: at the Higher School of Pedagogical and Technical Education (A.S.P.AI.T.E. Thessaloniki), the Hellenic Open University, the University of Cyprus, the European University (Cyprus), and the University of Limassol (UoL).
He is a member of the Board of Directors and Academic Secretary of the Philosophical Society of Cyprus. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Society of Greek Writers of Cyprus.
He was a member and president of the Bioethical Assessment Committee for Biomedical and Clinical Research (2010 – 2013 and 2015 – 2018).

dr. markella grigoriou

Markella Grigoriou

Lecturer in Clinical Psychology

Dr. Markella Grigoriou is a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the University of Limassol. She holds a BA in Philosophy (University of Patras, GR), an MA in Neuroscience and Philosophy of Mind (University of Birmingham, UK), and a PhD in Psychiatry, Medical School (University of Birmingham, UK). Before her appointment as lecturer at UoL, she has been working as a Research Associate at several Mental Health NHS Hospitals in the UK and at the Institute for Mental Health, UK (2015 – 2021). Her research methods include neuroimaging (fMRI), clinical assessments and questionnaires.
Furthermore, since 2018, she has been delivering lectures at the Medical School and Psychology School at University of Birmingham, UK. I am member of the American Psychological Association, British Neuroscience Association and Federation of European Neuroscience Societies. her research focuses on the integration of philosophy, neuroscience, neuroimaging and psychology aiming to understand and resolve challenging conditions in mental health such as suicide, extreme psychopathology, and other challenges in early children and adults. She has extensive experience in mental health settings in the UK and she focuses on how to develop and use nonclinical interventions in community, schools, families and public bodies to prevent mental disorders at an early stage.
She delivers professional training, parenting education and develops prevention and intervention programs in clinical and educational settings in Cyprus and the UK.

anastasia kapsali

Anastasia Kapsali

Sociologist and Kindergarten Teacher

Anastasia Kapsali is a Sociologist and Kindergarten Teacher with postgraduate studies in Education Sciences and a certified adult educator (HRDA) with over 500 hours of training.
Today she works as an HR Consultant and Trainer as well as a Safety and Health consultant. She specializes in the implementation of procedures in hospitals and nurse for the preparation of accreditation (Accreditation) in collaboration with the English Body CHKS, mainly on issues related to human resources departments with main pillar staff development and training. (staff training, writing of recruitment procedures, writing of manual and policies, etc.).
She holds certification from Workearly in HR Manager recognized by the global Human Resource Certification Institute (USA), and in Leadership, Education and Management from the University of the Aegean. At the same time, she deals with Counselling and Vocational Guidance (certification of a 440-hour program entitled "Counselling & Vocational Guidance") of the Training and Lifelong Learning Center (Κ.Ε.ΔΙ.ΒΙ.Μ) of the University of the Aegean. She actively participates in scientific conferences and seminars with pedagogical content as well as in the writing of manuals and procedures in the framework of European programs. From 1993 to 2008 she worked in market research and opinion polling, marketing consulting services, interviewing, group discussions, questionnaire creation such as MRB Hellas, TNSIcap etc. She has worked as a kindergarten teacher in a public kindergarten through DRASE, a program of the Ministry of Education, where the main task is to teach the Greek language to children with Migrant Biography, and from 2008 until today in secondary and primary schools in Greece and Cyprus with subjects of Sociology, Psychology, Principles of Economy, History, Social and Political Education, European Law, and Tourism Economics.
In 2017 she moved to Cyprus where she worked for about 2 years in the Government as an Assistant Secretarial Officer and then for another 2 years at the Cyprus International Institute of Management as an HR Officer.
