Our new representatives are:
– Netherlands – Tessa de Groot, Director and Researcher, Het Onderzoekhuis in Rotterdam
– Finland – Heini Taiminen, Senior Lecturer of Corporate Communication, Jyväskylä University, School of Business and Economics
– Turkey – Meftune Özbakır Umut, Associate Professor of Marketing, Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University
Welcome all three of you, and we look forward to hearing in the future about how #Socialmarketing is developing in your countries.
We also want to say a welcome to Ioanna Panayiotou who became our Representative for Cyprus last year. Ioanna is COO of the University of Limassol (UOL), which is the first university in Cyprus to offer training of professionals and certified courses in Social Marketing. The establishment of Social Marketing in Cyprus is an exciting development and (UOL) aim to use it to influence a range of challenges that Cyprus faces, including climate change and road safety.
On that topic, we will soon be publishing a new section of our website which outlines the main Social Marketing activities that are taking place in each of the countries where we have a representative. We will tell you more about this in the next newsletter. Our current list of National Representatives can be found on our website at: https://lnkd.in/duNEAMtp
