VISA/ENTRY PERMIT REGULATIONS FOR NON-EU STUDENTS
All non-EU students who apply to the University of Limassol must obtain a visa to study in Cyprus. Upon receipt of all necessary paperwork and payment, the University will present the student’s documents to the Migration Authorities and the Ministry of Education for final approval.
Once the visa has been granted, the student will be notified and the visa will be issued in Cyprus. The student will also receive a copy of the visa, which will be necessary for their travels.
Required Documents
1.
Certified copies of your Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate, translated into English.

Certified copies of your University Degree and Transcripts also translated into English.

Certified copy of a recent letter from a bank and a bank statement indicating you have at least €7,000 in the account.

Certified copy of a recent letter of good conduct issued by the police authorities in your country of residence.
6.
Certified copy of a Health Certificate which will include Blood test results confirming that you do not suffer from Hepatitis B and C, HIV/AIDS and Syphilis and a Chest X-Ray report indicating that you do not suffer from Tuberculosis.
Payments
- Registration fee of €100 for undergraduate programs, €200 for graduate programs, (not included in tuition fees and non-refundable).
- Cost of subscriptions of €180 (for graduate programs).
- Tuition fee instalment (as mentioned in your admissions letter).
- Immigration deposit of €500 (refundable at the end of your studies).
- Entry visa fee of €140.
- Annual medical insurance fee of €175.
* Documents to become accepted by the migration authorities of the Republic of Cyprus for visa purposes, must be stamped by Notary Public, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of your country and by the Cyprus Consulate/Embassy in your country. Failing to comply with all the above will result to the cancelling of your admission.
Application fee:€50 – Once an application is submitted through applications.ciim, an email will be sent to the applicant confirming receipt. This email will also include the bank details required for the €50 application fee.
Please note that the application will only be reviewed by the Admissions Committee once the fee has been received and all required documents have been submitted. A decision will then be issued within 24 hours.
Kindly note that the application fee will be waived for applications submitted through one of our official partner educational agencies.
