CRYPTO EXPERT SURVEY CYPRUS
About the project:
The Crypto Expert Survey Cyprus is part of the European Crypto Expert Survey initiative that aims to provide a high-quality empirical basis for academic research on expectation formation in the European crypto sector. The project involves collecting information from crypto industry experts in Cyprus.
The survey employs proven methodologies from well-established economic surveys, including the ZEW Financial Market Survey, ifo Institute Business Climate Index, Duke University CFO Survey, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Survey of Business Uncertainty. These frameworks have been adapted to reflect the unique dynamics of the cryptocurrency industry. The Cyprus National Bioethics Committee issued a favourable opinion for the conduct of the survey in Cyprus.
The survey was initially launched by IU International University of Applied Sciences in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). The University of Limassol joined the initiative to expand the survey’s reach to the crypto community in Cyprus.
The aim of the project is to generate, through regular surveys, the following country-specific indicators:
- Crypto Business Climate Index – Cyprus
- Crypto Optimism Index – Cyprus
- Crypto Market Expectations Index – Cyprus,
as well as to compare them with similar aggregated Europe-wide crypto indices.
These indicators reflect sentiment and expectations within the industry and market and will be made publicly available to support decision-makers in business, politics, and regulation.
The project involves collecting information from crypto industry experts in Cyprus. The Crypto indicators are publicly available to support decision-makers in business, politics, and regulation.
