Strong Together: UoL and EOKA Fighters’ Melathron joined forces for women’s health and equity

On Monday, March 10, 2025, a lecture titled “Strong Together: Light, Inspiration, Creation” was held in honor of International Women’s Day.

The event, co-organized by the University of Limassol and the EOKA Fighters’ Melathron, featured female representatives from Europa Donna Cyprus. They shared insights into the organization’s work, the care and support it provides, and powerful real-life stories of resilience from a true fighter.

Representing the University of Limassol, Dr. Andri Hadjiandreou, Director of the UoL Center for DEI, delivered a lecture on addressing bias in healthcare through the lens of Cultural Intelligence. She offered a critical perspective on both the Cypriot and global healthcare landscape, emphasizing the need for inclusivity and equitable care on the island.
