The highly anticipated UoL Alumni Community First Gathering, organized by the Alumni Relations Office, took place in Limassol, on Thursday, 6th of June 2024. The event brought together our alumni from CIIM and UoL, each eager to reconnect, network, and celebrate the enduring legacy of our community.
The evening began with a warm welcome from UoL Rector, Professor Theodore Panayotou, who reflected on the rich heritage of our alumni community. His words resonated deeply with everyone present, reminding them of the shared experiences and values that bind them together.
Following this, the UoL Alumni Relations Office presented a concise overview of our community’s goals, benefits, upcoming events, and contact details. This presentation underscored UoL’ s collective commitment to fostering a vibrant and supportive alumni network.
As the sun set and the city lights twinkled, attendees mingled on the rooftop, sharing stories and forging new connections. The atmosphere was filled with nostalgia, as old friends reunited, and new friendships blossomed. The networking session was particularly fruitful, with many attendees expressing their excitement about the opportunities to collaborate and engage with one another in the future.
