The Rector of the University of Limassol (UoL), Professor Theodore Panayotou, has been honored with the prestigious “Key to Culture” award by the Hellenic Cypriot Cultural Association (HCCA). This distinction recognizes his lifelong dedication to advancing the values of culture and humanism.
The award was presented during a special meeting at the UoL Limassol campus, where Rector Panayotou, accompanied by UoL’s Chief Operating Officer, Ioanna Panayiotou, welcomed Ms. Osia Sigioultzi-Rouka, President of the HCCA, and Mr. Spyros Sideris, the association’s Growth Advisor.
“This honor is a recognition of the collective efforts of our university and the broader community in promoting cultural dialogue and understanding,” said Professor Panayotou upon receiving the award. “This acknowledgment deeply moves me, and I look forward to further strengthening our collaboration with the Hellenic Cypriot Cultural Association and other institutions worldwide.”
