UOL aspires to become an institution implementing and promoting the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
With sustainable development in mind, UOL is committed to adopting a Policy whose main axis is the balance between the three pillars – economy, society, environment.
Within the framework of the above objectives, UOL strives to contribute to:
- Cultivating environmental awareness among students and staff of the Institute.
- Reducing the impact of the Institute’s operations on the environment.
- Proactively contributing to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals both locally and globally.
- In the improvement of various environmental parameters, such as the reduction of energy and water consumption, the implementation of the policy for green public procurement, the management of liquid and solid waste, the reduction of the University’s carbon footprint, etc.
- In social cohesion.
