Course Objectives
The course equips individuals with essential knowledge and skills to become effective leaders, make ethical decisions, promote responsible practices, and address societal and environmental challenges. It helps create a more ethical and sustainable future for organizations, communities, and the world at large. Upon completion of this course, students will be equipped with the necessary and sufficient knowledge and skills to be effective leaders, fostering ethical decision-making and promoting responsible business practices, enhancing organizational reputation.

1. Explain the nature of effective leadership as individuals and in teams.
2. Critically assess personal, motivational and teamwork roles.
3. Critically apply the key theoretical anchors of organizational theory to varied practical organizational situations.
4. Identify and analyze the factors that influence team performance at work.

6th week: Organizational Culture
7th week: Business Ethics and Corporate Culture; Recognizing ethical dilemmas in
everyday life
8th week: Ethical Decision Making; Unconscious biases: sources and strategies
9th week: Business ethics & ethical dilemmas in business
10th week: Ethical theories and principles for analyzing ethical dilemmas; analyzing
and resolving ethical dilemmas in 10 steps; Core values and Codes of conduct/ethics
as management tools.
11th week: Strategic vs. Responsive CSR in creating shared value; Designing and
implementing CSR programs & projects
12th week: Sustainability and the environmental footprint of business
