The University of Limassol invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Associate Professor/Professor in Occupational and Organisational Psychology. We are seeking an experienced academic and researcher to contribute to the advancement of our Psychology programmes and to play a leading role in the delivery and development of our new MSc in Occupational and Organisational Psychology. The successful candidate will support the strategic growth of the Faculty through research leadership, academic mentoring, and curriculum innovation.

  • Lead the design and development of curricula across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a primary focus on Occupational and Organisational Psychology.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in areas such as well-being at work, work motivation, leadership, psychometrics, and career development.
  • Supervise MSc and doctoral dissertations and support students during their practicum experiences.
  • Drive the research strategy of the Faculty, leading research projects and mentoring early-career academics and doctoral students.
  • Publish research in internationally recognised journals and contribute to the development of impactful, externally funded research programmes.
  • Promote evidence-based practices in both teaching and applied organisational psychology.
  • Build and sustain strategic academic and professional networks, including collaborations with industry, public sector organisations, and international research bodies.
  • Represent the Faculty in national and international academic communities, associations, and professional networks.
  • Contribute to internal governance, quality assurance processes, and the broader academic life of the University.
  • Act as a senior academic advisor and contribute to shaping the vision and strategic priorities of the Department of Psychology.
  • A PhD in Occupational, Organisational, or Work Psychology (or closely related area).
  • A strong and sustained record of high-impact publications and externally funded research.
  • Extensive university-level teaching experience, ideally including postgraduate programme leadership.
  • Expertise in advanced research methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise MSc and doctoral students successfully.
  • Experience in developing and managing academic programmes and ensuring academic quality.
  • Evidence of leadership in research, curriculum development, or professional networks.
  • Familiarity with practitioner training, accreditation requirements, and applied projects in occupational settings is desirable.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English is required.
