Maria and her colleagues’ research demonstrates how remote work can best support the needs and capabilities of disabled and/or neurodivergent individuals, highlighting its potential to contribute towards an inclusive, accessible, and sustainable work environment.

The study presented the Remote4All scale (R4All), showcasing its psychometric robustness and validity across a broad range of neurodivergent and/or disabled remote workers. This scale can be used to assess the extent to which the needs of this overlooked community of workers are being supported in any organization.

The Remote4All scale provides researchers and line managers with a tool for studying, evaluating, and supporting inclusive work environments that meet the needs of disabled and/or neurodivergent workers.
