Members of the University of Limassol (UoL) academic and research community participated in the 19th Annual Conference of the EuroMed Academy of Business, held in Paphos, Cyprus, from 23–25 September 2026, contributing through research presentations and active roles in the conference’s academic sessions.
Representing CIIM Business School, Dr Evdoxia Kyriakou presented the paper “Internal Marketing as a Strategic Marketing Tool: Leveraging Personal and Organisational Values and Non-Financial Rewards to Foster Employee Engagement,” co-authored with Associate Professor Anna Zarkada and Professor Ioanna Papasolomou. Dr Kyriakou also contributed to the conference programme as Co-chair and Discussant of the session on International Management and Emerging Markets.
Dr Georgia Sakka presented “Generational Perspectives in Sustainable Marketing: A Bibliometric–Systematic Literature Review of Consumer Behaviour, Brand Authenticity and Trust,” co-authored with Mr Giannis Theofanous and Dr Maria Voutsa.
Dr Sakka also presented “Co-Designing Green Skills Curricula Through Multi-Stakeholder Engagement: The Erasmus+ SUSTAINET Project,” co-authored with Annita Eliade, Senior Project Officer at the UoL Research Center. In addition to her research presentations, Dr Sakka contributed to the academic programme as Chair and Discussant across sessions focusing on sustainability and stakeholder-driven business.
PhD student Katerina Katsamba presented “AI-Mediated Ethical Leadership in Service Ecosystems: H2H Marketing, Trust, Branding and the Human Filter,” co-authored with Professor Waldemar Pfoertsch.
The participation of UoL academics, researchers and PhD students at EuroMed 2026 reflects the University of Limassol’s commitment to research, academic collaboration and knowledge exchange, while contributing to discussions on contemporary issues across marketing, sustainability, leadership and emerging management challenges.
