Special Educational Programs
The CIIM Bioeconomia Center of the University of Limassol, with many years of action and studies, on the issues of Local Government, organizes a series of Special Educational Programs, with the aim of strengthening the knowledge and abilities of Municipal and Community Councillors.
The reform of Local Government, the modern socio-economic context affected by globalization, the rapid transformation of functions due to rapid technological developments, the increase of intercultural societies due to the large immigration flow of recent years, pose the technocratic reorganization of the Municipal Administration, with the continuous updating of the knowledge, skills and abilities of the human resources, the development of relations and joint actions with the Society of Citizens, at the center of every reform effort.
Adaptation to the mandatory rules of International organizations, resilience to Climate Change, continuous training, with innovative programs in terms of thematic subjects, with new smart and flexible forms and learning techniques, with advisory and guiding actions, are called to respond to the need for reform, reorganization, flexibility and mobility of the Municipal Administrative Mechanism.

Obligations and Commitments in the Framework of the Reform.

The User Governance Model of the European Council, which concerns Local Authorities.
📅 DECEMBER 07 & 14 - DURATION: 2 hours

Change Management in Local Government Organizations.
📅 DECEMBER 21 & 28 - DURATION: 2 hours

- All programs will be implemented online.
- A relevant certificate of attendance will be provided.
- Monitoring cost €80.00 per program.
