Course Objectives
Students should acquire a thorough introduction to clinical psychology. The purpose is to acquaint students with the core theories, notions, and techniques of clinical psychology. There will also be discussion of clinical psychology-related ethical issues. Students should have a firm understanding of the fundamental ideas that guide the study and application of clinical psychology by the completion of this course.

Course Features
Teaching methodology: Lecture
Assessment:
- Midterm & Final Exam (30% & 30%): Mid-term and final exams will be conducted covering the entire course. Both exams will include multiple-choice, short-answer, and essay questions.
- Group assignment and presentation (20%): Assign group projects that require students to work together to provide a case conceptualization, including how to collect clinically-relevant information (i.e. assessment), diagnosis, treatment and ethical considerations, based on real-case scenarios provided by the lecturer.
- Individual assignment (10%): Critical analysis of one of the potential interventions.
- Presence and Participation (10%): Students should be present and actively participate in in-class discussions.
