1. Where can I find information about the Distance Learning Programs?

2. How are the distance learning courses conducted? What are their requirements?

Distance learning courses are conducted through the Moodle platform. The technical requirements for participation in the courses are described in the Student Handbook, which is available to students. For Technical Support, submit a ticket via UoL Student Helpdesk.

3. When and how can I apply for admission to the Distance Learning Programs and what are the admission criteria for each program?

4. How are tuition fees paid?

Tuition fees are paid through the Classter platform. For further information regarding the payment of tuition fees, please contact the UoL Accounts Office at the international number 77772446 or +35722462207 for local calls. Alternatively, you can submit a ticket via UoL Student Helpdesk.

5. Am I entitled to any tuition reduction if I prepay the entire semester/program?

7. I have financial issues. Can I register for courses?

To enroll in courses while having outstanding financial obligations, please contact the UoL Accounts Office for clarification at the international number 77772446 or +35722462207 for local calls. Alternatively, you can submit a ticket via UoL Student Helpdesk.

8. How do I know if my course choices were correct? Will I receive any updates?

The Distance Learning Unit is by your side from the moment you enroll at the university. All students are informed if they have registered for all courses and if their registered course selections are correct.

9. Can I temporarily interrupt my studies?

11. How can I contact my professors?

You can communicate with your professors via email and messages on the Moodle platform.

12. I forgot my password. What should I do?

To reset your password, please contact the Information Technology department by submitting a ticket via UoL Student Helpdesk.

13. How are the final exams conducted?

Final exams are conducted online through the Moodle platform.

14. What happens if I cannot attend the final exam of a course?

If you are unable to attend the final exam, please contact the Distance Learning Unit for instructions.

15. I have failed a course. What can I do?

You can contact your academic advisor or course instructor for advice and review options.

16. Is there a special provision for students with special educational needs / disabilities?

17. Can I get a certificate for my participation in the final exams?

Yes, you can download the certificate of participation in the final exams through the respective course page on Moodle.

18. Where can I see my final grades?

The final grades are announced after the end of the Examination period through the “Classter” platform (Academic Data -> Marks).
Note: Grades for interactive activities, self-assessment activities, as well as assignment feedback are announced on Moodle.

19. I am in the last semester of my studies. What do I need to do to receive my degree?

After the final grades are announced, the necessary academic checks are carried out, and the issuance process is completed, the degrees and other documents are submitted electronically by the University, to DOATAP Greece on your behalf (for students from Greece), regardless of whether you participated in the graduation ceremony.

20. What is the process for sending my Academic Documents to the University?

Academic documents are sent in accordance with the guidelines provided by the University and Admissions Department.

21. What procedure do I have to follow with DOATAP in Greece to receive the recognition?

Once your final grades are announced and it is confirmed that you have successfully completed the programme, the university will submit to DOATAP on your behalf all the necessary supporting documents (postgraduate degree, transcript of records, diploma supplement).

22. If I do not attend the graduation ceremony, will I still receive my degree?

In the event of a no-show at the graduation ceremony, your degree will be mailed to the address you have provided.

23. What are the technical requirements for a student to be able to complete a Distance Learning Program?

The technical requirements for participation in Distance Learning Programs are described in the Moodle platform and in the Student Handbook. Alternatively, you can find the technical requirements here.

24. Which policies should I be aware of during my studies at the University of Limassol?
25. How can I obtain a certificate of enrolment?

You may request a certificate by sending a relevant email to dlsupport@uol.ac.cy or by submitting a request through the UoL Student Helpdesk. Certificates are issued only for semesters you have already completed or for the current semester, provided that the fourth week of classes has been completed.
