The University of Limassol is proud to announce its participation in the prestigious Workshop on Prediction Markets, hosted by the Centre d’Economie de la Sorbonne at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. This two-day event, taking place in December 12 & 13, brings together leading academics and practitioners in the field of Prediction Markets to explore groundbreaking research and propose directions for future innovations.
Supported by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR), the workshop serves as a vital platform for advancing knowledge in Prediction Markets—an area of growing importance in economics, finance, and decision sciences.
We are honored to share that two of our distinguished faculty members will represent the University of Limassol at this esteemed gathering:
- Professor Doron Sonsino, Dean of the Social Sciences and Humanities School, an expert in decision theory and experimental economics.
- Professor Nobuyuki Hanaki, Distinguished Research Professor and globally recognized for his innovative contributions to behavioral and computational economics.
Both faculty members will actively contribute to the discussions, sharing insights and engaging with pioneers in the field.
